Happy Christmas and New Year

The restaurant we went to was not very nice, so I won't be recommending it. We had a good night though nevertheless.

The hotel we (I) picked this week was terrible, I won't be recommending that either! I can't recount everything that happened but if I tell you the final straw was that the taps were wrongly labelled in the shower and I scolded my feet you may understand why we decided to skip breakfast and left.

Blood count had risen slightly so we would need to return on the 17th.

This week was altogether better, we stayed in the Travelodge in Wimbledon which was fine. My blood counts were lower so we were offerred the choice of Christmas Eve or New Years Eve off. So we have a week off, which is great. I've also had my legs measured again and the difference is 5%, down from 7.5% last time, so that's good too.

Life is hectic getting ready for Christmas, just started shopping this week, far to late for me really. I'm usualy much more organised. We are spending Christmas with family so I'm looking forward to it after the mad rush is over.

Hope you all have a good Christmas and New Year. Will be on-line again next year.

Status Quo

A holding week really, the liver function count had reduced a little, which was enough to keep me on the tablets for at least another week and see what the reading is next week. My blood pressure has not reduced so the BP tablets have been upped each day. As there are no visible signs of either symptom, all we can do is wait for the checks next week.

The hotel we found in Croydon this week was fine, we had a full English breakfast, which was a bit heavy first thing. This week I'm booking the hotel next door with continental breakfast only, which should be more than enough we hope.

Got our first Christmas do this week and I'm not even drinking :-( and it's with the Wine Club at a BYO restaurant! I'll name it next week, if it's any good.
