What a month
We moved on the 25th May and since then we've had no Broadband access and for a long while no dial-up access either. I won't go into why we've had to wait so long, it could be callled libelous, but we won't be properly back on line until the 29th June! I'm writing this using a good old modem. So beware if you plan to move, Internet access is not as seamless as you think, even if you keep the same phone number.
Anyway the house has been all consuming, it's taken a few weeks to clear everything out at the old place and also getting ourselves sorted out in the new. We feel quite settled now and are open for tea and coffee and I'll be sending out the address very shortly. All telephone numbers and email addresses are unchanged.
I've had my 6 week follow up on the leg stent and they don't want to see me again unless I have any problems. I couldn't have done the move without it that's for sure, the circulation is now about 80% compared to about 50% beforehand, but I think I overdid it a bit generally and my leg is painful so I'm trying to take it a bit easier.
I've also had my first round of chemo, the 10 minute injection turned out to be a 1.5 hour infusion. I've felt OK, perhaps a little tired and my hair is still there for a few weeks more.
It will be great when we are settled in properly and we can relax a bit more, maybe even go away somewhere before the schools break up, that's the plan.
Must go, still plenty to do.
