Warfarin Progress

I am now on the Warfarin and the injections stopped about 5 days ago, which is great. My INR count, which is the blood measurement they take and checks the coagulation ability of the blood is still fluctuating a bit so my maintenance dosage is still to be established. I have had the odd day off going to the hospital but until it settles I cannot be discharged or at least allowed longer periods without going.
My leg actually feels a lot better, my stick has been packed away, and I sometimes forget to put on my Nora Batties which means I'm much less conscious of it than I was. Conversely I can overdo it and end up flagging after a while. It's a bit like a track race, I mustn't start off too quick or I tie up in the final straight!
My strength is returning after the chemo and Frank says I must be getting better because I'm nagging him again :-)
