Will Summer Ever Arrive?
I couldn't think of a title, so I thought I'd use the question on everyone's mind. If it's not, you must be in Spain :-)
I had my second course of chemo this week, didn't need a blood transfusion, but it was marginal, so I may not get away with it next time. I'm very tired, taking a nap nearly every day, so that it is a sign my blood oxygen is low. Although the circulation in my leg is much improved, I have been getting a lot of pain in my hip, so I've been taking liberal amounts of painkillers. It's been a tough couple of weeks, coping with restricted mobility for a different reason.
In the last few days this appears to have improved a bit, so fingers crossed it was because I overdid it on the move and the improvement will continue. The problem is not knowing realistically what I will be able to do, mobility wise, in the future, and I don't want to think about that too much.
We still haven't managed to get away, the weather has been so poor and we have carried on getting the house sorted. Work on the conservatory started yesterday, so it will be a while yet before we have a nice garden to sit out in. We have settled in to the house though, Frank is happy with his play rooms and I'm happy with my own (tidy) office:-). We now have enough room to spread out and lose each other from time to time!
Next target is to get back to the gym as we haven't been since we moved, maybe next week, or maybe not..............
Speak soon
